The physical search is still a very important component of the TSCM task. It's value must not be underestimated. Observation has been the key to a large percentage of TSCM 'finds'. However an NLJD (Non Linear Junction Detector is a vital tool for the detection of covert electronics, either energised or dormant, i.e.. switched off or battery flat.
Physical - NLJD
This is the latest version of the LOCATOR series of Non Linear Junction Detectors. It is a Third Harmonic Junction Detector; a very important facility for discriminating between false and real targets. This unit also has the ability to select the transmit frequency which provides for suitable operation anywhere in the world. In addition to the customary 'Geiger' audio, AM and FM demodulation modes are provided. This lightweight unit is particularly suitable for the detection of cell phone technology.
